Jordin Sparks is the latest celebrity to defend Chris Brown after the AMAs scrapped his Michael Jackson tribute.
“Honestly, I think that shouldn’t even be a conversation anymore,” Jordin, who used to date Breezy, told TMZ. “It’s about his talent, and they just shouldn’t have canceled the performance. That’s how I feel about it.”
“People deserve to be able to grow and learn and be able to live their life without things hanging over them. Everybody deserves that.”
Kelly Rowland also told TMZ that it’s time to forgive Brown.
“Before we point fingers at anybody we should realise how grateful we are, for every moment that we get, for even our own things that we have. I just think it’s important to remember to be human, we are humans,” Kelly said.
There are rumors claiming the performance was scrapped because the AMAs didn’t want a convicted domestic abuser paying tribute to an alleged child abuser but this has not been confirmed.
