Jonathan Majors and Megan Good have been parading around red carpets for the last year, in an attempt to use their love story to rebrand Jonathan’s “abuser” image.
Well Media Take Out is hearing that there may be cracks brewing in their love tale. And those cracks may have to do with Jonathan Majors apparent jealousy.
First off, we want to give a shout out to Tyler Perry, whose new movie Divorce Is The New Black is being released on Amazon Prime this weekend. It’s an amazing film – very well acted – and one of the best that Tyler has put out in years.
Media Take Out was at the New York premiere last night, where we were able to see the amazing movie … and the interaction between Jonathan and Megan Good on the red carpet.
But the premiere wasn’t about Jonathan and Megan … it was about Megan’s new film, which is expected to be a huge success.
We spoke to multiple people who have been around Megan and Jonathan who feel that Jonathan is uncomfortable with Megan’s recent uptick in celebrity. And they also noticed that Jonathan seems uncomfortable with Megan’s close working relationship with co-star Cory Hardrict.
In Divorce Is The New Black, where Cory plays an abusive husband, there is unmistakable chemistry between the two actors on screen (before Cory’s character turns evil, that it). And that chemistry carried on to the red carpet last night.
Cory and Megan posed on the red carpet together for almost a minute, as cameras flashed. And Jonathan stood aside, practically holding Meg’s purse, while she smiled and clinked on to her handsome co-star.
One insider- who saw what we saw – told Media Take Out, “It’s one thing if Jonathan is the big star and Megan is in the background as his ‘Coretta Scott King.’ But on the red carpet, Jonathan was Megan’s Coretta Scott King and he didn’t look to comfortable with it.”
