Days after Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment charges, his ex-girlfriend is asking her supporters to donate to a domestic violence charity.
“For my birthday, if you want.. a donation to @sffny, a charity that helped me so much this year, would be the best gift you could give,” Jabbari wrote via her Instagram Story. “Thank you so much @sffny, and everyone else…For everything.”
The director of Sanctuary for Families Incarcerated Gender Violence Survivors Initiative successfully represented her.
Majors was acquitted on another assault charge and one count of aggravated harassment.
The actor plans to appeal his conviction and maintains that he is innocent and that Jabbari was the aggressor.
In a statement to CNN, Priya Chaudhry, an attorney for Majors, said he “still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name.”
Majors was dropped from Disney after the conviction. His sentencing will be held on February 6.
