Kate Moss testified in Johnny Depp’s defense in his defamation trial against Amber Heard.
He now wants to stay in touch. They dated for three years, between 1994 and 1997.
“Johnny met up with Kate backstage at the show and he didn’t know she was coming so he was very surprised to see her there. They hugged and he thanked her for participating in the trial,” a source told HollywoodLife.
“It has been so long since the two of them have been able to catch up, but they spent a good hour or more aside just catching up,” the insider added. “They always make each other laugh and Kate finds Johnny’s intellect to be beyond his years.”
Johnny won the case and was awarded more than $10 million.
When asked on NBC’s TODAY show if Heard will be able to pay the judgment, her attorney Elaine Bredehoft said: “Oh no, absolutely not.”
