Joe Budden is already bracing himself for possible shots from Drake ahead of the rapper’s upcoming album, Iceman.
During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the former rapper discussed whether Drake could hiss him on the highly anticipated project, which is expected to arrive May 15.
“You know what’s funny?” Budden said. “I was talking to somebody that I can’t say publicly who I was talking to. We was out having a little time, and they were telling me that they heard something that’s not coming out. And it was a ‘naked in the hallway’ reference. I was so happy that that wasn’t coming out.”
Joe Budden says he knows someone who heard Drake recorded a “naked in the hallway” reference as a diss towards him on ICEMAN

claims the unreleased track allegedly references the viral hallway incident involving Joe

The alleged lyric appears connected to a past civil lawsuit involving Budden. In a previous podcast episode last year, he said the case stemmed from “a simple sleepwalking medical condition” that “turned into something much bigger.”
Budden and his co-hosts later joked about possible names for the rumored track, including “6AM in the Hallway,” before Budden shared his belief that he likely won’t appear on the final version of the album.
Still, he made it clear he would not mind subtle references but that he thinks he’ll get a few subliminals.
