Joe Budden revealed on his podcast that he believes Tory Lanez was set up to go to prison and that Megan Thee Stallion was just a pawn.
“I believe he is ill-tempered. I do believe he is ill-tempered. I’ve never seen a celebrity shoot somebody for less. People that have a lot going on,” he said. “He had a lot going on, one of the hottest artists out. Now, not as successful as her [Megan Thee Stallion] at the time. But I’m pressed to believe that.”
Budden then questioned why Lanez was so heated that night of the shooting.
He then addressed Meg’s part that night of the shooting.
“I don’t think she made it up. She is a mere pawn in this. This play is greater than her. She didn’t make nothing up. I ain’t gonna say who I think made it up. But it wasn’t her.”
Budden says that Kelsey Nicole, Meg’s former best friend, told him not to speak on the case. Budden says he knows how the weapon got there and night and who was behind the whole incident but that he won’t say on his podcast.
