Kendrick Lamar took aim at J.Cole and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” and Joe Budden gave his take on the drama on a recent episode of his podcast.
At Rolling Loud L.A., Travis Scott asked Future to perform the diss track which surprised fans because Drizzy and Travis has collaborated several times.
“Not you [Travis], hopping around on stage like a f-ckity-f-ck, saying, ‘Play the Drake diss. I hate these phony friendships. Enough of this,” said Joe.
“I love that Future is the one to break up all of these monetized friendships. All of the Drake all-stars that n-ggas be too scared to press Drake about, that’s [Rick] Ross, that’s [DJ] Khaled, that’s Young Thug, that’s the whole crop. He didn’t do that with Future.”
Joe accused Trav of being a fake friend.
“Travis, you phony-ass n-gga…Travis at Rolling Loud: ‘Oh, play this one! Play the diss!’ This was the song!” he added.
