Joe Budden says that Gunna’s recent album is better than his rivals…Lil Baby, Lil Durk and Young Thug’s.
Gunna’s A Gift & A Curse managed to sell just under 80,000 units without heavy promotion of the backing of his celebrity friends.
QueenzFlip asked Budden if he believed Thugger’s album was better than Gunna’s.
“Don’t ever say that again. Don’t ever disrespect rats. We gotta start upping the respect level for the rats around here,” he said.
“They can’t trick me with their little rap conditioning and rap ideologies, f-ck outta here. That Gunna shit sound good. It’s better than [Thug’s album] and the rest of them street n-gga albums that have dropped. It’s better than all of them…with no features and no Metro Boomin, with no help and no support. He did it.”
Gunna has always denied snitching.
In a statement released to the public shortly before his release from jail, he stated: “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”
