Joe Budden clapped back at Yung Miami in a scathing assessment of her rap skills after the City Girls rapper tried to mock his recent accomplishment after his single “Pump It Up,” which was released 20 years ago, finally went gold.

On X, formerly Twitter, Yung Miami joked that she was nine years old when the song was released and that she is now 30.

Budden gave her props on his podcast for being a good content creator.

“While I’m happy Caresha is able to laugh because she’s had a stressful year, I am a little surprised that she has found enough time to laugh at anything,” he said.

He then tore into her fading rap career.

“I want to keep this professional and on the music. If Complex were to do a list of where all the female rappers rat, Caresha, you would be last on the list. You would be drop dead last on that list. Every female out there is wiping you down right now,” Budden went on. “Caresha, may you not only be dropped from your label right now, but you are not allowed to put music out. There is nothing happening.”

Did Joe Budden go to hard on Caresha?
