Joe Biden Diagnosed With ‘Aggressive Form’ of Prostate Cancer

Joe Biden, the former POTUS, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that’s already made its way to his bones.

The news was released via a statement from his personal office on Sunday.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement said.

Despite the heavy diagnosis, Biden’s team remains optimistic, adding, “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”

At 82, Biden is now considering his treatment options with doctors and family.

The update comes shortly after Biden’s reps shared he’d recently been checked out for a “small nodule” on his prostate, but the nodule turned out to be something far more serious.

During his presidential run, Americans noticed that Biden’s health appeared to decline, which is one reason people suspect he dropped out of the race in place of Kamala Harris.
