Jodeci member DeVanté Swing is now a co-defendant in a lawsuit filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs earlier this year.
Devante Swing is alleged to have r-ped a teenager in the same lawsuit that Diddy and Guy frontman Aaron Hall were sued for months back over the alleged attack.
Liza Gardner says that incident happened back in 1990 when she was 17.
At the time, she said Diddy, Hall and a third man took turns assaulting her and a friend after meeting them at an event at MCA Records’ New York office after plying her with alcohol.
The court documents suit, which Rolling Stone obtained, states, “Unbeknownst to Ms. Gardner at the time, Defendant Swing was in the room when this assault took place and did not take any steps to prevent this abuse from occurring.”
A sworn statement given by a witness also states that Swing was “leaning against the wall or furniture or something, watching whatever Puffy was doing to Liza.[Gardner].”
Devante Swing is accused of “aiding and abetting” the alleged abuse.
