“Our daughter brought us covid (even though we specifically asked her not to),” he posted in a statement to his social media pages. “All feeling fine, I am double vaxxed and boosted but the show must not go on.”

Covid-19 cases in Los Angeles County has seen an increase of the B.A.2 subvariant, but hospitalizations remain steady.
“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert was back on television after contracting the virus. He addressed Kimmel’s news on the show.
“This is a broadcast emergency,” Colbert said. “TV is down a Jimmy!” he continued as the crowd laughed.
