Are you looking for a Black billionaire to marry – well so was Los Angeles designer and socialite Jennifer Meyer. She set out to get one … and she did it!!
Jennifer, 47, I best known for being the ex-wife of actor Tobey McGuire.
But since splitting with Tobey, Jennifer has dated some of the wealthiest Black men in the world. And now she’s finally marrying a billionaire, Media Take Out has confirmed.
Over the weekend, Jennifer announced that she got engaged to her long-term boyfriend, Geoff Ogunlesi, the 34 year old entertainment mogul who is heir to one of the wealthiest Black people on teh planet.
Geoff is the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi – whose private equity company owns London airport and various other airports and other assets around Europe. Adebayo recently sold his company to BlackRock for $12.5 billion.
Adebayo only has two children, and Geoff is the eldest son. Under Nigerian custom, Geoff is expected to inherit the vast majority of his father’s fortune once the 70 year old businessman passes on, Media Take Out has learned.
She posted a series of photos and videos from their engagement – and it seemed very cute and fun. In one picture, Geoff sweetly wrapped his arms around Meyer in the picture taken after he popped the question.
The couple appeared to be at an intimate dinner party where bottles of wine lined the walls and several white roses were set up in small vases across the table.
Jennifer’s dating history is filled with wealthy Black men – Geoff is not her first.
In fact, her last long-term relationship was with LeBron James’ super-agent Rich Paul – who is also on the road to becoming a billionaire.
Jennifer and Rich were madly in love, and many thought that the two would get married. Unfortunately teh pair separated during the pandemic. Rich then moved on to Adele, and Jennifer moved on to Geoff.
