Jennifer Lopez is living her best life amid her divorce from longtime love, Ben Affleck, but this week, she is making headlines after being snapped at an event, holding hands with Ben Affleck’s best friend, Matt Damon.
Lopez attended the Toronto International Film Festival last Friday where they were captured having a “deep” conversation.
Seated next to each other, Damon is seen holding the “This Is Me, Now” star’s hands and they smiled and laughed together.
Last month, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck after more than two years of marriage.
According to sources, Lopez filed the paperwork because Ben was reportedly not interested in making their marriage work.
“She’s very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage. He hasn’t shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work. It’s gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
