Jennifer Aniston’s Friends Reportedly Afraid Her New BF Jim Curtis Could Be an ‘Opportunist’

Jennifer Aniston is happy with her new man, Jim Curtis, but some of her closest friends reportedly still have questions about him.

Speaking to Page Six, one source claimed members of the actress’ inner circle worry Curtis could be “an opportunist” and feel he sometimes comes off as “performative.”

Aniston and Curtis, a hypnotist and transformational coach, have been linked since July 2025, when they were photographed enjoying a getaway in Mallorca. Their friendship reportedly turned romantic after they met through mutual friends.

“If she’s happy then of course they’re happy for her,” the source told the outlet, “but they’re also really protective of her and don’t ever want to see her get taken advantage of.”

Another insider said some in Aniston’s circle “absolutely adore Jim” and believe the pair are a natural match.

“They haven’t seen Jen this happy in a long time,” the source continued.

Aniston has not exactly hidden her feelings either. She made the relationship Instagram-official in November 2025 and later described Curtis as “very special, very normal and very kind.”

Jennifer Aniston has had several high-profile relationships.

She married Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, then dated Vince Vaughn and musician John Mayer. Aniston married actor and screenwriter Justin Theroux in 2015 after several years together, but the pair announced their separation in 2018.
