Jenna Dewan Demands HALF Of Channing Tatum ‘Magic Mike’ Earnings

Tiffany Brockworth |

Jenna Dewan, the ex-wife of Magic Mike star Channing Tatum, is demanding half of all of his profits accrued from the popular movies series.

“A careful reading of Channing’s opposition reveals he is ‘dancing between the raindrops’ with respect to the Magic Mike Intellectual Property,” the court documents filed by Dewan reads. “On the one hand, Channing argues, ‘[he] has agreed for Petitioner [Jenna] to have an interest in the Magic Mike Intellectual Property [MMIP] and related entities.’ Indeed, he agrees to give Jenna an interest, yet Channing fails to quantify that interest in the foregoing pronouncement.”

Dwean says that the main dispute in the case is that he wants to give her less than the 50% he allegedly agreed to.

“Channing finally admits he plans to argue Jenna should receive less than 50 percent of the Intellectual Property asset. Therefore, the preliminary question as to the character and division of the Magic Mike Intellectual Property is very much in dispute, and as set forth in greater detail herein, it must be answered before the other issues of this case can be properly assessed at trial.”

The couple have been apart since 2018, but Dewan is not letting up until she receives what she says she is owed. Dewan wants a separate trial to handle her issues but Tatum does not.

Tatum’s legal team is not on board with a separate trial on the matter. He says he “never denied her share of any community assets or income. Her claims that I have ‘colluded with third parties’ are completely false.”

“She has had complete access to all our financial records for all activities during our marriage and since separation,” his attorneys added. “I continue to provide her with updates regarding Magic Mike financial matters.”
