Former rapper-turned-country star Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie Xo, after nearly a decade together.
The singer, 41, filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, according to court records.
The news has shocked fans. In February, the pair attended the 2026 Grammy Awards together, where Jelly Roll won Best Contemporary Country Album and thanked Bunnie during an emotional speech.
“I want to thank my beautiful wife,” he said at the time. “I would have never changed my life without you. I would have ended up dead or in jail. I would have killed myself if it wasn’t for you and Jesus. I thank you for that.”
The couple met in 2015 at Las Vegas’ Country Saloon, where Jelly Roll was performing. He proposed onstage in 2016, then the two married later that night in a courthouse ceremony.
Jelly Roll previously admitted to cheating on Bunny only once in their marriage, calling it “one of the worst moments of my adulthood.” Bunnie told PEOPLE she left him for about 30 days, but believed he “deserved a second chance.”
In January, she said they had found a surrogate and hoped for twins as they looked ahead to becoming a family.
