Jeezy has opened up about finally squashing his beef with DJ Drama. The pair is making music together again.
“The beef was Dram had somebody managing him. But [the individual] was trying to be an artist too. He got in Dram’s ear and created a toxic environment. Something happened at club, I can’t really say. Things got real.”
He added, “I feel like we both just grew. I love Drama. I’m truly appreciative of the history we got and the relationship we built.”
Freddie Gibbs recently revealed he ran into Jeezy and that their beef was over.
“I been put it behind me, but I had to like … I had to see him [to really be at peace] and then when you look back, man, that wasn’t really nothing, man,” he said. “That was f-ckin’…a music disagreement, you know what I mean? Like, I didn’t really have nothin’, you know, against Jeezy. I looked up to Jeezy. Jeezy one of my favorite rappers. I learned a lot from him. I learned really how to carry myself in this rap game by being around him.”
