Yesterday Jay Z’s 40/40 club announced that they are closing down. And HATERS of Jay Z are rejoicing. Well, don’t rejoice for long.

Media Take Out just got some EXCLUSIVE news concerning Jay Z’s sports bar … it’s actually moving to a BIGGER and BETTER location.

We spoke with two people intimately involved in the business who told us Jay Z and his partners’ MASTER PLAN. According to our sources, the 40/40 club is planning to reopen in a brand new space in a new building across the street from Madison Square Garden.

The insider told Media Take Out, “The club is closing for now, but will reopen across from the [Knicks arena]. It will be the biggest sports restaurant in the whole city.”

Haters aren’t going to like this news.

In 2013, Time included him on its list of the “100 Most Influential People in the World” In 2023, Billboard and Vibe named him the greatest rapper of all time.
