Jax Taylor has retained Kevin Federline’s attorney to refile for divorce from his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
Brittany filed for divorce in August but Jax refiled saying an error was found in their paperwork … the reeality star accidentally checked a box to say they were never legally married.
“While Jax made errors in filling out forms that are usually done by trained legal professionals, those errors will be amended without delay,” the statement read.
Brittany has been given full custody of their three-year-old son, Cruz.
Taylor recently spent time a mental health clinic, where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD. He says he has been working hard to be a better man.
“It’s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace,” he said at the time. “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it.”
