Jamie Foxx is in hospital recovering from a medical complication, his daughter, Corinne Foxx, announced in a statement.
Foxx “experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the Instagram post.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she wrote. She did not reveal which medical condition the actor is recovering from.
Foxx was in Atlanta shooting Back in Action, a Netflix comedy. The film stars Cameron Diaz’, who hasn’t starred in a movie role in almost a decade. The film also stars Andrew Scott and Jamie Demetriou and is directed by Seth Gordon.
In January, Foxx showed off his new girlfriend, Ivana Knoll, a Croatian Instagram model and former Miss Croatia. Miss Croatia made news recently when she was kicked out of a World Cup soccer match, which featured her home country against Brazil.
Before the game started, the security personnel requested the female model, who was wearing very suggestive clothing, not to take any pictures of herself or with the supporters. Last year’s World Cup soccer tournament was held in Qatar, a conservative Muslim country.
