Jake Paul is bruised but not backing down after his highly anticipated showdown with Anthony Joshua ended in a knockout loss.
The bout took place last week at Kaseya Center, where Joshua stopped Paul in the sixth round and sent him to the hospital after breaking his jaw in two different places.
Paul later revealed he required surgery to repair his jaw and now has “four titanium plates” in his face.
Despite the outcome, Paul says the experience was eye-opening.

Speaking on his brother’s podcast IMPAULSIVE, he reflected on what went wrong. “I learned a lot,” Paul said. “I won two rounds, then he won two, and then I got dropped. I was feeling his power a lot more.”
Paul continued, adding, “It’s a great experience overall to be in there with someone who’s that good.” He even claimed he hurt Joshua at one point. “I had him wobbled,” he said.
The fight drew massive attention on Netflix, pulling in 33 million global viewers and ranking in the Top 10 across dozens of countries.
