Last week Jake Paul threatened to end British boxer Tommy Fury’s career in their match in Saudi Arabia last weekend…but Tommy beat the Youtuber after Fury won in a split decision.
After his loss, Paul blamed Drake, who bet $400,000 that he would win, on his loss.
“Fuck! This is Drake’s fault. Bro, why did you do this to me?” Paul said to reporters after the match. “Nah, it’s my fault. $400K is nothing to him. He’s won a lot more money betting on me before, so he’s about even now. Sorry Drake, I am going to get that W in the rematch.”
Fans were shocked Paul lost after a script leaked last week that appeared to show Paul winning the fight.
He added, “But I lost. I’m not making excuses,” Paul said. “I’m just saying it wasn’t my best performance. I fell flat.”
“All the way through these 2 1/2 years, I had a dream, I had a vision that I would win this fight, and no one believed me,” Fury said in the ring after his win. “Now I can stand up and everybody can take note. In my first main event, at 23 years old, I had the world on me. I had pressure on my shoulders, and I came through.”
