Jada Pinkett Smith has been embarrassing her husband Will for the past few years. Recently she’s released a tell-all book, where she explained that she and Will were separated, and that she carried on at least one affair during their time apart.
But Jada is now saying that, if Will can continue to work on himself, the couple may get back together.
Media Take Out confirms that Jada, 52, previously admitted she and Will, 55, had been trying to “figure out” what the future of their marriage looks like.
On Saturday, she addressed a comment from a fan flagging just that.
The actress took to social media for a video where, reading from the screen alongside her mother Adrienne, she said: “Somebody asked if there’s an opportunity for Will and I to get back together.”
Hinting there was hope for their partnership, Jada added: “Will and I have been doing a lot of healing together.
“We have made our way into this interdependence and this beautiful loving space between us.
“And we are family and we are figuring it out.”
She added “we have a lot of love” yet did not bluntly confirm yes or no.
The Set it Off actress was interviewed about her memoir, Worthy.
Hoda led the interview and said that the aspect of the book that shocked her the most, and one that she had to re-read, was that Jada and Will decided to “live completely separate lives” in 2016.
“It was not a divorce on paper, but it was a divorce,” Hoda said.
Jada nodded her head and confirmed that it was true.
“So since 2016, which is seven years now, y’all have been apart?” Hoda asked.
“Yeah,” Jada nodded her head.
