Popular 2000s music producer Irv Gotti is running his mouth again.
In the early 2000s, then-married Irv carried on a long-term affair with R&B singer Ashanti. Ashanti has been mostly silent about the pairs torrid affair, but Irv Gotti has been constantly running his mouth about it.
This week, Irv did an interview where he went into detail about the former couple’s escapades on a recent episode of The Drink Champs podcast.
Irv claimed that Ashanti’s career was “helped” by carrying on an affair with the married producer, Media Take Out has learned.
Irv explained, “Happy – the hit record – let me explain how that was created.”
“So we’re together … We just finished sleeping together, and I’m in the shower. A n**ga gets creative after [s*x],” Irv continued.
“I think up the whole track in the shower. I get out the shower, and called my [producer] Chink.”
He then claims the song was created that very night.
