Kyle Cooke is speaking out after his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, confirmed her romance with West Wilson, and he says his biggest concern is the online backlash she is facing.
One day after Amanda and West shared a joint statement confirming their relationship, the Summer House star said Amanda had warned him before the news went public.
“I’m good, I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” Kyle said in a TikTok interview with Adam Glyn. “I understand people have all sorts of opinions and I’m not justifying any kind of behavior, but from what I’m seeing she’s kind of getting cyber bullied.”

Kyle, who split from Amanda in January after four years of marriage, also took aim at West.
“All I know is West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time,” he said. “Meanwhile, they’re just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad.”
Still, many fans have criticized Kyle’s comments, arguing that Ciara Miller was the real victim in the situation because she was reportedly casually seeing West when Amanda and West’s relationship became public.

Online, viewers accused Kyle of shifting sympathy away from Ciara and placing all the focus on Amanda. Others called out West directly, saying his behavior toward both women should be receiving far more backlash than Amanda’s role in the controversy. While fans of the show have unfollowed Amanda, West has reportedly gained over 50,000 followers.
“I just looked and somehow in all of this, 50,000 people have decided that West deserves their follow. And meanwhile, they’re just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad,” Cooke continued. “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and is trying to come to terms with it. She is not well.”
