International Warrant Issued For Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Arrest

New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has an international warrant for his arrest issued by authorities in the Dominican Republic.

According to the news outlet, Diario Libre reported, the Court of Appeals in the Judicial District of La Vega issued this warrant.

“This court issues an arrest warrant against the accused and the execution of the guarantee of 500,000 Dominican pesos,” read the statement.

Late last year, surveillance footage was released of 6ix9ine and two other men running into the studio building to attack two producers inside and fleeing the scene moments later.

One of the victims needed surgery after suffering a dislocated jaw. The producers were part of Dominican artist Diamond La Mafia’s team. The rapper tried to flee the country but authorities stopped him.

In January, the “Dummy Boy” rapper on the island following for domestic abuse allegations. A week later, he was released on bond, ordered to pay a $510 deposit, undergo government counseling and meet with authorities every two months until they conclude their investigation into allegations that he assaulted his then-girlfriend Yailin La Mas Viral.

He was not allowed to leave the country until his legal issues had been resolved.
