Iggy Azalea shares a 4-year-old son with rapper Playboi Carti, but the Australian native says that they do not coparent…she is the only one parenting their child.
“I’m very much a single mother. I’m very much the only parent, no disrespect, but yes, I am not co-parenting really, and that’s just the reality of it,” she said on the Dinner’s on Me podcast. “It’s one, it’s 24/7.”
Iggy credits her mother for her parenting skills. As a child, Iggy says her mother spent a lot of time with her so she has learned to do the same for her child.
“It’s my job as a parent. I think if you’re going to have a child, you should be prepared to do that and engage in that way. And I really want to. I toured two years with my son on a bus and it was time for that to end,” she continued.
Iggy has previously called Carti out for being a deadbeat, but it seems the rapper is not prepared to change his ways just yet.
