The beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has died down but according to Ice Cube, he doesn’t think it’s all over yet.

“I always approve of rap battles. That’s the essence of the game. It goes back to Busy Bee and Kool Moe Dee and even further than that. It’s part of the game as long as it doesn’t get physical because that’s not rap,” he said during an episode of The Big Podcast.

Ice Cube’s 1989 track “No Vaseline” is still considered one of the greatest diss tracks of all time.

He thinks K.Dot should stay alert.

“I think Kendrick is up, he’s landed the more hard and effective punches, but that don’t mean Drake can’t get off the canvas. If I was Kendrick, I’d stay locked and loaded just to be ready for whatever,” he added.

Drake removed all traces of his disses against K.Dot from his social media recently and DJ Akademiks recently tweeted that new music is on the way.
