Rapper Ice Cube was asked about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ interview in a recent interview and the West Coast legend seemingly defended the Bad Boy boss.

“I believe he’s being targeted,” he said on the PBD Podcast. “I believe someone has the power to pull the trigger to make this stuff. This domino effect happened.”

Four months ago, the feds raided Diddy’s home in Los Angeles and Miami in connection with a federal sex trafficking case.

Diddy’s three sons, Quincy, Justin, and Christian, were handcuffed while police executed the search warrants. Diddy was not at home at the time of the raids. After the raid, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) put out a statement saying that as part of an ongoing investigation, they, along with other law enforcement partners, “executed law enforcement actions.”

He is reportedly now under criminal investigation.

Paul Bet-David told Cube that he was shocked by the events surrounding Diddy.

“How could you be surprised with anything that happens in hip-hop?” Cube responded. “Hip-hop is the wild west. You gonna have the good, you gonna have the bad, you gonna have the ugly.”
