Huda Mustafa is not dating PlaqueBoyMax, even though fans wondered whether she had found a new romance after splitting from Louis Russell.
“No, we’re friends,” the Love Island USA star told TMZ after her recent stream with Max sent social media into detective mode.
Huda called him “the sweetest ever” and said he has become one of her closest friends since she moved to Los Angeles. According to Huda, Max has been extremely supportive as she adjusts to life on the West Coast, and the friendship goes both ways.
Her love life has attracted attention since her relationship with Too Hot to Handle star Louis Russell ended in May.
Huda and Louis began dating in summer 2025, shortly after her Love Island experience, and spent nearly nine months together. The relationship had become serious enough that Huda said they discussed marriage and children in April.
A month later, they announced their split.
“After taking time to reflect on what’s best for us both, we have mutually decided to part ways for the time being,” they said.
The pair said Huda would focus on motherhood and her growing music career, while Louis would focus on fatherhood and his own endeavors. They added that they remained friends with “the utmost respect and love for one another.”
