Kim Zolciak’s Son Accused Of MONSTROUS Attack On Underage Girl
Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is facing every mother’s nightmare after her 15-year-old son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., was arrested on extremely serious sex-crime charges.
And Media Take Out learned that the allegations behind the arrest are DISTURBING.
KJ, the son of Kim and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, was arrested August 17 in Georgia and charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. The charges stem from an alleged encounter with a female classmate at a fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, earlier this year.
KJ and his family strongly deny the allegations.
GIRL CLAIMS SHE WAS ASSAULTED AT GYM
According to court documents reported on by multiple outlets, the alleged incident happened April 23 at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta.
The girl claims she and KJ ended up inside a changing area at the facility. She alleges that KJ began making unwanted sexual advances toward her and that she repeatedly objected.
According to the allegations, things then escalated.
The girl claims KJ forcibly kissed her and subjected her to nonconsensual sexual acts, including forced oral sex and digital penetration. The allegations ultimately resulted in KJ being charged with aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.
The following day, police reportedly responded to North Fulton Hospital after receiving a report of a sexual assault. An investigation followed, eventually leading to KJ’s arrest nearly four months later.
But there is another side to this story.
And Kim says her son is INNOCENT.
KIM IS FIGHTING BACK
Kim is vehemently denying that her son sexually assaulted the girl.
According to Kim and KJ’s attorney, there are major problems with the allegations against the teenager.
KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, says the teenager passed a polygraph examination. Kim and the defense have also pointed to the results of a medical examination, saying that no male DNA was found linking KJ to the alleged assault.
Those facts do not by themselves determine what happened, but the family believes they are important evidence supporting KJ’s innocence.
Kim called the allegations against her son “reckless and deeply troubling” and is asking people not to rush to judgment before the evidence is presented in court.
KJ IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND
Despite his age, KJ is currently being held at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center without bond, according to reports.
Fulton County court records show that he was arraigned after his August 17 arrest. A preliminary hearing is expected in September.
That means this case is FAR from over.
And because KJ is just 15 years old, the allegations have created an especially sensitive situation. There is an alleged victim whose accusations are extraordinarily serious, and there is also a teenage defendant whose family says he did not commit the crimes.
THE ZOLCIAK-BIERMANN FAMILY FACES ANOTHER CRISIS
The arrest comes during an already turbulent period for Kim and Kroy.
The former reality television power couple has spent years battling through a messy separation and divorce, including disputes involving finances and custody.
Now those problems have been overshadowed by something much more serious.
Their teenage son is facing allegations that could potentially change his life forever.
For now, however, they remain allegations.
KJ has not been convicted of the crimes, his family maintains his innocence, and the evidence will have to be tested through the legal process.
But given the horrifying nature of what the young girl alleges happened inside that Georgia fitness center, this is easily one of the darkest stories ever connected to the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star.
