Honey Boo Boo says she had no idea her mother married Justin Stroud until after the fact.
Her sister Pumpkin didn’t know either.
“We didn’t know about it,” Pumpkin told E! News. “I asked her about it just recently. She denied it. And then eventually she was like, ‘Oh, I got married’ and we were very, very shocked.”
Mama June told Honey Boo Boo that she would never get married.
“It definitely did catch me by surprise because Mama was always one to say she would never get married. But I mean, my mom now, she’s definitely different,” she told the outlet.
Mama June secretly married her boyfriend Justin Shroud last month. She has been dating him for less than a year.
Mama June’s new husband has had some trouble with the law since they began dating.
In February Stroud was arrested in Florida on an outstanding warrant for drug charges at a gas station. He was released in March.
