Hit-Boy and Hitmaka are still coming for each other and in a recent interview, Hit-Boy claimed his rival doesn’t make beats.
“I produced the biggest Griselda release in the history of griselda. I helped Nas win his first grammy. I got JAY-Z’s most streamed song. I produced Nipsey’s biggest song, like n-ggas be trying to disrespect,” Hit-Boy told Home Grown Media.
“The conversation is over. He don’t make beats, bro. Let’s just start there. I’m really handcrafting new styles, coming with different bounces, different drum patterns, different types of ways of thinking about the music, and this man don’t even make the beat and he got the nerve to speak on me, that’s like you really on pills. He’s an A&R, bro.”
Hitmaka sparked the beef when he claimed he’s better than Hit-Boy. Both producers have an impressive catalog of hits. Hit-Boy has produced for Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Nas, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez and several others.
