UK rapper group Hijack hopped online to respond to the backlash after one of it’s members pulled a “Lil Mama,” storming the stage after the group was prevented from performing at an O2 performance, commemorating Hip-Hop’s 50th.

“As per usual the DJs and Promoters of the show LICKED THE ARSE OF THE AMERICANS and disrespected UK side of the culture (HIJACK) by not letting us perform! You were always unprofessional CLOWNS,” the post was captioned. “So we walked on Kane’s set and he and they didn’t like it! AWWW [wacky smile emoji, runny nose emoji] You arse licking promoters and DJs are the reason UK HIP HOP NEVER GREW. Playing UK HIP HOP only in the last 5 minutes of your Radio shows to cover your wack arses a bit!”

BDK was a headliner for Hip Hop 50 event at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Saturday. Kane is rapping on stage when a masked rapper, Hijack member Kamanchi Sly, walked onto the stage and stood there staring.

BDK eventually halted his performance to confront the rapper: “You’re doing too much playboy. I need the stage, you’re doing too much.”

Kamanchi Sly says something to BDK, who responded, “That ain’t my f-ckin’ problem.”

Fans called the group out over their actions and said they should have confronted the promoters, not BDK.
