This week, Media Take Out has reported that Wendy Williams son, 22 year old Kevin Jr, and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter Sr, 50, both went to court – after Wendy Williams’ lawyers CUT THEM OFF from further financial support.
Well Media Take Out spoke with a couple of people in the know – to get answers, on what happened.
Here’s the tea. Wendy’s assets – which we’re told is as much as $50 million – is being controlled by attorney Sabrina Morrissey – while Wendy recovers from her recent health issues. It is Sabrina, and not Wendy, who is in charge of handling the embattled daytime diva’s estate and deciding who gets a cut of Williams’ hard-earned bucks.
The insider told Media Take Out that Wendy’s only son was officially evicted from his Miami apartment in September after Sabrina stopped paying his $6,800 monthly rent.
We’re told that Sabrina cut off Kevin Jr. after he decided to stop attending college. The guardian claims that Wendy only agreed she would pay for living expenses while he completed his studies. And since Kevin Jr decided not to re-enroll in college, the guardian reasoned he could “get a job.”
As for Wendy’s former spouse, Kevin Sr., Wendy’s attorney claims that the former couple has an iron clad prenuptial agreement which states that if the talk show host was not employed, “all Severance Payment shall be subject to either termination or modification.”
According to our insider, Wendy has not been consulted in the process and is not responsible for either decision.
