We’ve been waiting for nearly a year to hear what Chris Rock had to say about the Oscar slap incident. Well, Media Take Out finally got its hands on some of the jokes that Chris plans on telling about the incident.
Chris Rock signed on to do a Live Netflix special, about the Oscar slap. Chris is expected to get paid between $25 and $40 million for the special.
And he’s been testing a few jokes at comedy clubs around New York. So far the jokes sound pretty corny.
During his set at a comedy club in Manhattan. Chris jokes that he watched Will’s movie ‘Emancipation’ just to see Will get tortured. He also joked about how he heard one of Will’s songs ringing in his ear after the incident.
Here are three jokes that Chris told:
“The other day, I watched ‘Emancipation’ just so I could watch him getting whipped,” Rock reportedly joked.
“The thing people wanna know… did it hurt? Hell yeah it hurt. He played Muhammad Ali! I played Pookie (in ‘New Jack City’). Even in animated movies I’m a zebra, he’s a fucking shark. I got hit so hard, I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears.”
“Will Smith is a big dude. I am not. Will Smith is shirtless in his movies. If you see me in a movie getting open heart surgery, I’m gonna have a sweater on.”
He may want to do a little better than this.
