Gypsy Rose Blanchard is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker.
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star announced the news via her YouTube channel.
“I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant,” Gypsy said in the video clip. “Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025. We’re both very excited. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected. But we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.”
Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn was also convicted for the murder.
Godejohn, who went to trial, was found guilty of first-degree murder and of armed criminal action. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus an additional 25 years for armed criminal action.
Gypsy was released in December. Since her released, she has been filming a docuseries about her case and her life as a newly freed woman.
