Gunplay has responded to his wife’s claims that he pointed a rifle at her and their baby daughter.
In a police bodycam video, the rapper is seen telling the cops that she threw a bottle at him.
But his wife says the rapper has an alcohol problem.
“Unfortunately [Gunplay] is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem,” she wrote. “I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him. This is a demon he has to overcome on his own. At this point I really believe it’s too late.”
Vonshae says she wants to file for divorce but she cannot because the rapper will not agree.
“I filed for divorce. He would not sign divorce papers. So, I’m stuck. Unfortunately in the state of Florida, I cannot divorce him without his permission. Unless he goes to jail convicted or he’s a mental institution patient,” she said on Instagram last week.
