Gunna To Plead The 5th On The Stand

Media Take Out Staff |

Gunna’s attorney Steve Sadow says the rapper will plead the fifth while on the stand during Young Thug’s trial.

Akademiks posted a DM with Gunna’s lawyer Steven Sadow. In the texts, Sadow explains the viral video of Gunna confirming YSL is a gang in his plea deal.

“Doesn’t effect anyone but my client,” Sadow said. “Out of court statements at a plea cannot come into evidence against someone else.”

Sadow was then asked if Gunna’s statement would be used if he was called to testify.

“Yes but he will take the 5th and not testify,” he said.

Gunna walked free after accepting a plea deal last week. He was sentenced to five years in prison with one year served and 500 hours of community service.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” Gunna said in a statement after his release.
