Group Of Women Labeled ’Studs Of America’ Offer Tribute To Fallen Comrade Brittney Griner!

A group of gay woman, labeled the “Studs Of America” are going viral after creating a tribute video for WNBA star Brittney Griner.

Brittney has been sentenced to 9 years in a Russian prison, after she was caught attempting to smuggle a small amount of Marijuana into the country, Media Take Out confirmed. Russia has among the harshest penalties in the world for marijuana possession.

The woman created a spoken word/dance tribute that they hoped would bring attention to Brittney’s dire situation. It worked – but not quite in the way they imagined.

While many people enjoy their tribute, others are calling it “ridiculous” for the poor choreography and cinematography.

Brittney Griner is a professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), who is currently imprisoned in Russia.

She played college basketball for the Baylor Lady Bears in Waco, Texas. She is the only NCAA basketball player to both score 2,000 points and block 500 shots.

In 2012, the three-time All-American was named the AP Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. Griner is one of 11 women to receive an Olympic gold medal, an NCAA championship, a FIBA World Cup gold medal and a WNBA championship.
