Greyson Chance, who appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2020, said in a new interview that the comedian did not treat him well at all.

“I’ve never met someone more manipulative, more self-centered, and more blatantly opportunistic than her,” he told Rolling Stone.

Chance was just 12 when he became a viral sensation. After appearing on her show, Ellen reportedly told Chance and his mother that they were “going to do this together.” She then connected Chance with a team of people and signed him to her new music label.

He said she changed immediately, alleging she “became domineering and way too controlling.” She told him what to wear and banned him from wearing leather because she is a vegan.

“She would come in and look at a rack, yell at stylists, berate people in front of me and say, ‘This is what you’re wearing on the show,'” Chance said. “She was just degrading to people.”

Ellen Degeneres’ show came to an end after she battled claims of having a toxic and abusive working environment.
