Gizelle Bryant has defended Mia Thornton’s behavior on the show even though viewers have compared it to the drama between Candiace Dillard and former Housewife Monique Samuels.
“It’s apples and oranges,” Gizelle said on WWHL. “Monique was definitely beating up Candiace. It was a drink. It was water across the table. And, they didn’t show it, but in another clip, Karen and I were talking and I said, ‘Mia shouldn’t have done that. That was totally wrong.’ However, I don’t like Wendy. So I internally kiki’d when it happened.”
Robyn chimed in and said that producers did not show the footage of her telling Mia that she was wrong to throw a drink in Wendy Osefo’s face.
“We said it at the table,” said Robyn. “I said I thought Mia was wrong in the drink throw and I think there was some context left out because I was telling Wendy, I was trying to tell her to stop because I was really worried about what may happen to her with her job and I did not want her to get physical on TV and so that’s why I was saying, ‘You’re antagonizing her,’ because I didn’t want her to cause Mia to do something that would require Wendy to defend herself.”
Was Mia just as wrong as Monique?
