R&B star Ginuwine announced that he is now two months sobers after years of struggling with addiction.
The 53-year-old battled alcoholism for decades but now, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
“I am still going strong, two months sober,” he wrote on Instagram. “Maybe it seems like a little time to you, but to me and most, it’s a lifetime.”
Ginuwine credited his success to having a support system and urged other who may be going through the same thing to ask for help.
“Anyone going through addiction , drugs alcoholism please please please look within yourself and know your better than failing !!!!your strong !!!!you are ME !!!!!super!!!! Get up,let’s go !!! We got this,” Ginuwine concluded.
Fans first noticed Ginuwine may have been battling substance misues issued back in 2013.
During the performance, the star seemingly stumbled through, forgetting the words and appeared to be jittery and under the influence.
His fellow group members, Tank and Tyrese, looked visibly irriated. The group disbanded soon after.
