Gillie Da Kid trended online after he made comments about older rappers in the industry.

“F-cking right there’s an age limit to rap. If you ain’t poppin’ by a certain age, let that sh-t go. Muthaf-ckas be like all the time, ‘Yo Gil, your platform crazy this the perfect time drop something now.’ Shut the f-ck up, man. -uck is you talking about? Do I look like a n-gga that’s holding onto yesterday, n-gga? Or do I look like a n-gga that’s elevating? And escalating, n-gga. And glowing and growing. What the f-ck is wrong with you?” he said.

He said only older rappers who cannot do anything else still rap this late in life.

“Let me drop another debut album at 46. Get the f-ck out of here. That is not me. That is for n-ggas that can only rap. F-ck all that. I got bigger and better sh-t that I’m gon’ climb and try to climb and get to. I’m not no n-gga that’s trying to live no throwback Thursday, man. If you ain’t got no traction at all by a certain age and you still doing this sh-t. Loser.”

Y’all agree?
