Model Gigi Hadid was reportedly arrested after she allegedly pulled up to the Cayman Islands with marijuana in her possession.

“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license,” a representative for Hadid told PEOPLE. “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear, and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

According to reports, Gigi arrived on the island via private jet with a few of her friends and was processed by Customs and Border Control. The model was found to have a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia on her and she was arrested and taken to the Prisoner Detention Center and later released on bail.

Gigi and her friend Leah McCarthy were sentenced in two offenses: importation of a controlled drug and importation of a drug utensil.

Gigi attended summary court, where she reportedly pleaded guilty and was fined $1,000.
