Gervonta “Tank” Davis has announced that he will soon be returning from boxing.
“After next year, I’m out of it,” Davis said at a press conference for his WBA lightweight title defense against WBA super featherweight champion Lamont Roach. “Yeah, out of this sport.”
“Sh-t’s trash,” Davis added. “This sh-t is trash, garbage. Fed up. I’m fed up with the whole sh-t. I just want to be able to make money and stay out the way, that’s it,” Davis said. “I want to be living without being seen.”
Davis’s bout with Rosch goes down on March 1st, 2025.
