Gayle King has weighed in on the T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach scandal and thinks the whole thing is a mess.
“In the beginning I actually thought, good on ‘Good Morning America.’ They’re saying they’re not taking them off the air. It’s two consenting adults,” King told Andy Cohen on WWHL.
“But then the more you read, it’s just very messy,” she said continued.
Amy and T.J. have both been pulled off air until ABC fully investigates the matter. They both appear to have left their partners. There have been allegations that T.J. cheated on his wife with multiple staffers while working on the show. If this is the case, then he will likely lose his contract with the network and have to go elsewhere for employment.
“I think, to me, it’s just a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved, and I keep thinking about that. I’m very concerned about that,” King added.
