Comedian and actor Gary Owen tied the knot with Brianna Johnson on March 7 during a lavish ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston. The couple welcomed about 170 guests to celebrate their union.
“We wanted the ceremony and reception to be dramatic, memorable, and fun,” the couple shared. “We wanted the whole experience to feel lively from beginning to end.”
The celebration drew a number of familiar faces from the entertainment world.
Owen’s Think Like a Man costars Terrence J, Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy, and Will Packer stood by his side as groomsmen, while former NFL star Chad Johnson officiated the ceremony.
Johnson walked down the aisle as a violinist performed “Young and Beautiful,” wearing a strapless mermaid gown that shimmered under candlelight. Owen entered to the sound of Wale and Usher’s “The Matrimony.”
Family also played a special role in the ceremony. The couple’s 2-year-old twin sons served as “ring security,” and Johnson’s 92-year-old grandmother appeared as the “flower girl.”
“Marriage means sharing life together through everything,” Owen said. “No matter what happens, we’re going to figure it out together.”
