After four seasons of diamonds, drama, and unforgettable one-liners, Garcelle Beauvais shocked loyal fans when she walked away from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Speaking to Variety, Garcelle revealed that she does not regret her decision to exit the show.

“As great of an opportunity as it was to be on the ‘Housewives,’ it was also heavy on my spirit,” Beauvais told the outlet.

“Walking away has given me my power back. It’s given me a sense of freedom, and I’m in a good headspace. I want to create. I want to spend time with my family and friends. We live in a crazy world right now, and anywhere you can find joy and hold on to it for a bit is where we should all go. I am enjoying joy, peace and my life at this point.”

Since joining the cast in 2020, Garcelle made history as the first Black woman to hold a diamond on the Beverly Hills franchise. She quickly became a fan favorite for her grace under pressure and her ability to deliver both warmth and sharp wit in equal measure. The actress and talk show host, 57, is continuing her work in film and television, while cherishing the quieter moments away from the cameras.
